Join us at The Green Door in our DIY Workshop Studio on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at 6:30pm to give your old trunk or suitcase a new life! Full of storage, awesome old hardware, great bones with so much life left, these trunks make for the best DIY Project with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®! Great for coffee tables, bedroom storage, side tables, front porch pieces, a great talking piece, fresh family heirlooms and more!
During this workshop, we will guide you through the process to give your trunk a up-dated look while still holding the vintage vibe using Annie Sloan Products and Artisan Enhancement Mediums (yes- crackle products)! There are 45 Annie Sloan® paint colors to choose from so it is a good idea to come to this workshop with a color choice in mind, as we know choosing a color can sometimes be a process 😉 and we want to get started as soon as possible!
If you want to take the class but don’t have a trunk, we do currently have some for sale in our Retail Shop. There will be a ton to choose from during The Green Door’s Antique Weekend: June 25th – 26th! You can also check Facebook Marketplace or your local thrift shops!
These trunks come in all shapes, sizes and colors – you can bring in whatever you have, just make sure that you are able to lift it (we can help a little), move it around and get it into the DIY Studio.
